Trying something new is a big moment and our first‑ever High Ropes Day Out was exactly that for Discover Activity Camps.
An exciting new adventure where Discoverers had the chance to climb, balance and challenge themselves in a fun, supportive outdoor setting. From the moment helmets were fitted and harnesses clipped, the atmosphere was full of excitement, curiosity and encouragement. Nervous smiles were quickly replaced by laughter, cheers and growing confidence as Discoverers prepared to take on the High Ropes course for the very first time.
A Challenge Worth Taking On – Together
High Ropes offered a different kind of adventure for Discoverers. Not only was the day adrenalin-fuelled, it required focus, perseverance and trust. Trust in yourself and those around you!
One of the standout moments was seeing Discoverers come together as a team. Each child approached the challenge in their own way. Some climbed confidently from the start, while others built courage gradually, one careful step at a time. Throughout it all, there was constant encouragement from friends watching below and plenty of shared celebrations at every achievement. The teamwork made a real difference, helping Discoverers push themselves a little further.

More Fun, More Ways to Get Involved
Alongside the High Ropes, Discoverers also had the chance to experience the indoor fun walls, adding another layer of excitement to the day. The interactive climbing challenges offered a different type of adventure, and everyone got involved. For many this was a brand new experience and it certainly created plenty of new memories this Easter holiday. The mix of activities meant the day was varied, inclusive and energy levels remained high from start to finish.

The High Ropes Day Out with Discover Camps was delivered in partnership with 270 Climbing, experienced outdoor adventure specialists who ensure every session is safe, supportive and fun. With expert instructors guiding the day, Discoverers felt reassured and encouraged to take part at a pace that suited them, knowing support was always close by.
