As the nights draw in, join us at Cricklade Manor Prep this October Half Term for a spooktacular few days of seasonal fun, Hallowe’en-themed games and adventures. Enjoy outdoor exploration and Forest Adventures, putting both bodies and brains to the test before wrapping up the school holiday in seasonal style with a Monster Mash at our end-of-half-term Hallowe’en party!

What to Expect

Age groups 4 – 7 can join us for a fantastic fortnight packed with autumn adventures, creativity and Hallowe’en fun! From splatter painting, clay art and dreamcatcher making to inflatable fun, pedal karts, mini sports and Forest Adventures, every day brings something new to discover. Discoverers will enjoy creating monster masks, Jack O’Lanterns, witches’ and wizards’ hats and seasonal crafts, alongside pumpkin carving, nature-inspired activities and marshmallow toasting around the campfire. We’ll round off half term in suitably spooky style at our ever-popular Spooktacular Hallowe’en Party on Friday 30 October.

Age groups 8 – 14 can look forward to an action-packed fortnight of sports, team challenges, creativity and Hallowe’en adventures. Whether competing in football, tennis, uni hockey, badminton, fencing and archery tag, tackling zipline, egg drop, bridge-building and spaghetti tower challenges, or getting creative with haunted house designs, clay Hallowe’en creatures, monster masks and pumpkin carving, there’ll never be a dull moment. Discoverers will also enjoy Forest Adventures, including den building, nature activities and marshmallow toasting around the campfire, while making new friends and creating unforgettable memories. We’ll round off half term with our Spooktacular Hallowe’en Party on Friday 30 October.

Example Timetable

Discover a typical day at a Discover Activity Camp. There is plenty to keep children engaged and entertained.  Weekly activity schedules vary by location and there is seasonal added fun each school holiday.  Children are grouped by age for age-appropriate activities and may be combined for selected activities for social interaction and group dynamics.
